If you live in the US, then chances are you are planning to visit your family today for the holiday. Thanksgiving is a holiday that brings people together – for better or for worse. Some of you might have had a tough year, but God was still good through all of it!
Personally, this time last year was the worst Thanksgiving experience of my life; I was low on money, my Godmother scolded me for over an hour about it, and I spent that whole weekend feeling like a failure. This year things didn’t go the way I planned, but I got to spend time with my cousin, and I was able to make money online.
As disappointing as 2021 was for me, I still look forward to the holiday season. No matter how life is going for me I always remain thankful because of this scripture:
“Be thankful in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you who belong to Christ Jesus.”
