I have been really grinding a lot on building my case study portfolio. To be a successful freelancer depends heavily on trust. Integrity is important in any profession, but it’s crucial to have credibility in freelancing because it is filled with scammers. It takes a lot of work to find your first client, but you will more than likely have that client for life; once you do, that depends on how well you do at first.
In saying that, it reminded me of Proverbs 22:31 [NIV version], where it says, “A good name is more desirable than great riches; to be esteemed is better than silver or gold.” A good reputation will take you further than money can. People will lie, cheat, and steal to climb the ladder of success, but only a good reputation will put you in circles beyond your understanding.
