Scott Roberts is a dynamic Christian leader, writer, and church elder/pastor at Bayfair Baptist Church in Pickering, Ontario. He is the author of the men’s ministry book Warrior Disciple and New in Christ: A Simple Guide for New Christians. Scott has a passion for helping men and new believers grow as bold disciples of Jesus Christ. He also writes devotionals and articles for Impactus Ministries.
Early Life and Background
Scott was born and raised in Missouri and now lives in the Greater Toronto Area with his wife and family. He is a devoted husband, father, and stepfather who seeks to serve Christ faithfully at home, in his church, and in his community.
Before shifting his focus to ministry, Scott established himself as a writer, blogger, and voice-over artist. He became a recognized authority in the fiery foods and BBQ industry through his popular food blog and regular appearances on BBQ Central Radio Show. Media outlets such as NPR and the St. Louis Post-Dispatch also featured his work.
Shift Into Ministry
In recent years, Scott has sensed God’s call to focus fully on spiritual and scriptural matters. He now devotes his writing and leadership to theology, men’s ministry, apologetics, and discipleship. At Bayfair Baptist Church, he serves as an elder/pastor and discipleship leader. He has taught classes, led small groups, and organized men’s ministry gatherings. In addition, he has preached sermons during Sunday worship services, equipping believers with biblical truth and encouraging them in their walk with Christ.
Ministry and Writing Today
Through his articles on ScottRoberts.org and contributions to Impactus and Soulcon Ministries, Scott continues to teach, exhort, and disciple. He served as a Captain of Team Canada with Soulcon, mentoring and encouraging men in spiritual growth. His books and online ministry are now being used by churches, pastors, and discipleship leaders in North America and beyond.
Through his leadership, preaching, and writing, Scott seeks to embody the biblical call to be strong and courageous. He models faithful manhood for men of all ages and backgrounds, urging them to live boldly for Christ.
